A street vendor who took advantage of the profiteering was spotted at a rally calling for the impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol's president, sparking controversy.

On the 15th, YouTuber A posted a video of the impeachment rally of President Yoon Suk Yeol in Yeouido the previous day.

A, who visited the assembly site in the video, visited a free hand picket sharing booth, an emergency medical treatment booth of the Korean Council of Majors, and a free snack bus.

There were long queues at restaurants and cafes pre-paid by anonymous citizens and celebrities, and a paper with the phrase "pre-paid out" was attached to the door of a bakery.

Even citizens distributing hot packs and tangerines were noticeable throughout the site.

Mr. A stopped at a street vendor on the side of the road and asked, "How much is the fish cake?" In response, the owner of the street vendor replied, "It's 5,000 won each." I was surprised by the price much higher than the market price, so I asked again, but the same answer came back.

Mr. A pointed out, "It's good to sell, but it's too profiteering," and then turned back. It was briefly frowned upon by the profiteering of the

fish cake vendor, and soon after, a cafe offering drinks discounts for the rally participants and a free fish cake truck from a group of writers appeared in the video, adding to the warmth.

Meanwhile, the Yeouido rally was followed by a pre-payment relay of anonymous citizens as well as celebrities. Singer IU announced that she pre-paid 200 breads, 200 drinks, 100 rice cakes, and 300 bowls of rice soup at five bakery cafes, rice cake restaurants near the National Assembly in Yeouido, while girl group Girls' Generation member Yuri informed fans that she pre-paid at a kimbap shop located in Dangsan-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

Director Park Chan-wook also reported that he had paid for bread at a bakery in Yeongdeungpo-gu, and Mark Tetto, who lived in Korea and worked as a broadcaster, also reportedly limited 60 bowls of rice soup to a rice soup restaurant near the assembly site.
