Police rescue taxi passengers unconscious in cardiac arrest

It was belatedly known that the police saved a taxi passenger who was unconscious in a cardiac arrest by CPR.

The Cheonan Dongnam Police Station in South Chungcheong Province said that Lieutenant Lee Young-nam and Constable Lee Yoon-jae rescued a man in his 50s who fell unconscious due to cardiac arrest in a taxi visiting Munseong Police Station at around 11 a.m. on the 30th of last month.

The taxi driver reportedly visited the police station after mistaking the passenger in the car for falling asleep drunk when he fell unconscious.

Mr. A was taken to the hospital, recovered his pulse and breathing, and is currently recovering in a general ward.
