President Yoon Suk Yeol's first procedure in the impeachment trial is just a day away.

The Constitutional Court will hold a meeting of judges this morning (26th) to discuss related issues.

What time will the Constitutional Court's meeting take place?

[Reporter]
Yes, the Constitutional Judge's Council will be held shortly from 10 a.m.

윤 대통령 변론준비기일을 하루 앞두고 있어서 탄핵심판 절차를 논의할 것으로 보이는데요.

Earlier, President Yoon continued to refuse to receive documents related to the impeachment trial, but the Constitutional Court considered it to have been served.

Therefore, I don't think there will be any problems in proceeding with the hearing preparation period, which can be seen as the first step tomorrow.

The problem is that President Yoon's side argues that it takes time to prepare, such as that the lawyers are not completed, so there is a high possibility that he will not be able to attend.

In this regard, Constitutional Judge Kim Hyung-doo said that if one of them is absent on the way to work today, the trial will not be able to proceed.

If the judge decides that more preparation procedures are needed after proper judgment, he/she said he/she will designate another date.

The first impeachment proceedings will be held tomorrow, but the Constitutional Court has not yet formed nine judges, right?

[Reporter]
Yes, it is unclear whether the composition of the nine-member Constitutional Court will be completed within this year.

There are concerns that the Constitutional Court's hearing could remain idle.

The three members of the National Assembly should be appointed as soon as possible, but the ruling and opposition parties continue to be at odds over the appointment of acting President Han Deok-soo.

President Yoon, who said he would prioritize the impeachment trial over the investigation, also said there is a controversial factor in whether the hearing is possible under the six-member system.

We will have to wait and see whether we will postpone the trial process one after another or attend tomorrow as we have said we will fulfill our legal responsibilities.

So far, I'm YTN Kwon Junsu at the Constitutional Court.
