Our intelligence authorities have officially confirmed that North Korean troops sent to Russia have been captured by Ukrainian forces for the first time.

The National Intelligence Service said today (27th) that it confirmed that a North Korean soldier was captured alive through the intelligence agency of the allies.

The soldier was injured at the time of his capture, adding that he would closely monitor the follow-up.

Earlier, a Ukrainian military media outlet reported that the Ukrainian Special Forces (SOF) captured a North Korean soldier during an operation in Kursk, Russia.
