This year, the "excess profit performance" of the device solution division in charge of Samsung Electronics' semiconductor business was set at 12 to 16%.

The semiconductor sector has received about 50% of its annual salary as a bonus every year, but it did not receive a penny last year due to a deficit.

The mobile experience division, which served as a support for its performance due to strong sales of the Galaxy S24 series, reportedly paid 40-44%.

Samsung Electronics is currently calculating the exact amount of bonus payments and plans to make a final announcement at the time of payment in January next year.

Samsung Electronics' "excess profit performance" is a system that pays up to 50% of individual annual salary within the 20% limit of excess profit when its business performance exceeds its goal at the beginning of the year.

Earlier, Samsung Electronics' semiconductor division paid 2 million won in incentives to all business units to mark the 50th anniversary of its semiconductor business.
