For the weekend, rallies were held throughout downtown Seoul to call for the impeachment of President Yoon.

The emergency action of the resignation of the Yoon Suk Yeol, led by the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and civic groups, held a large-scale rally at Gwanghwamun's Dongbapjagak from 4 p.m.

The civic group Candlelight Action joined the emergency action rally after holding a candlelight culture festival around the Constitutional Court calling for President Yoon's immediate dismissal from 2 p.m.

Yoon Suk Yeol's resignation The National Conference on the State of the Union also held a "state of affairs" to criticize the declaration of emergency martial law, the rejection of the first impeachment bill, and President Yoon's refusal to investigate.

There were also anti-impeachment rallies.

Conservative groups, including the Liberty Unification Party, held a large-scale rally in front of the Donghwa Duty Free Shop in Gwanghwamun from 1 p.m., and shouted for the nullification of impeachment and protection of President Yoon.

Police said traffic congestion is expected throughout the city, and asked people to check traffic conditions in advance if they use public transportation and vehicles if possible.
