When the news of the accident at Muan Airport in Jeollanam-do was announced, the People's Power emphasized that saving lives should be the top priority by mobilizing all available personnel and resources.
Members of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee and the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee convened an emergency meeting and formed a dedicated team to handle accidents, find out the truth, and support the bereaved families.
After visiting the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters first to find out how the accident occurred, the party leadership was concerned about the vacuum in state administration due to a series of impeachment incidents.

Former leader Han Dong-hoon, who had refrained from officially entering after the resignation of the party leader, also posted on social media, saying he would pray with the same heart as the people.
The Democratic Party of Korea has also promised support at the National Assembly level, reiterating that protecting the lives and safety of the people is the government's first responsibility.
He then announced the launch of a party-level aviation accident countermeasure committee consisting of the situation headquarters, the accident recovery support group, and the bereaved support group.
Following the emergency supreme council meeting, Lee Jae-myung visited the situation headquarters set up in the Jeonnam Provincial Party.

In order to recover from the accident and mourn, the National Assembly postponed the schedule of standing committees, including the Steering Committee and the Judiciary Committee, and the presidential office held an emergency meeting presided over by Chief of Staff Jeong Jin-seok and decided to maintain a 24-hour response posture.
Amid growing calls from politicians to stop political strife, the ruling party asked them to stop the political strife and do their best to deal with the situation, and the Democratic Party revealed a difference in temperature, saying that it was a political factor.
