The proportion of preferential supply of newborns will increase from 20% in the special supply of newlyweds in private supply apartments to 35%.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has decided to prepare a partial amendment to the rules on housing supply, announce legislation by February 4th next year, and listen to related opinions.
As a result, the preferred supply ratio of newlyweds with newborns whose average monthly income is 100% or less of the average monthly income per urban worker household in the previous year will rise from 15% to 25%.
Households with newborns and earning less than 120% of the average monthly income of urban workers in the previous year receive priority supply benefits, up 5 percentage points from the previous year.
The ratio of priority supply for newlyweds who only meet income standards without newborn babies will be reduced from 50% to 35%.
However, the number of special public houses that newlyweds can subscribe to is limited to less than 85 square meters.
The revision of the rules is a follow-up to measures announced by the Low Fertility and Aging Society Committee in June.
