T1's mid-liner 'Faker' Lee Sang-hyuk took the top spot again. At the "2024 LCK Awards" held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul on the 29th, Lee Sang-hyuk won the "Player of the Year," "Mid Player of the Year," and "OP.G.G. Search King Award."
Gen. G. "Chobi" Jung Ji-hoon, Hanwha Life e-Sports "Penut" Han Wang-ho, and teammate "Oner" Moon Hyun-joon were nominated in the "Player of the Year" category, but Lee Sang-hyuk was highly praised for contributing greatly to the runner-up in the 2024 LCK spring and the five-time LoL World Championship. After the awards ceremony, Lee Sang-hyuk said, "There were many twists and turns this year, but thanks to my colleagues, I got good results," adding, "I will do my best next year."
On this day, many other T1 players were also honored. "Jeus" Choi Woo-je (top), "Oner" Moon Hyun-joon (jungle), "Faker" Lee Sang-hyuk (mid), "Gumayushi" Lee Min-hyung (bottom), and "Keria" Ryu Min-seok (supporter), who were the main players of the team's fifth world championship, were all selected as players of the year by position. The LCK season in 2025 is scheduled to begin in earnest on January 10 next year, starting with the opening event of "2025 Season 1: Invitation to Knox" at Roll Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
