At least 10 people were killed and more than 30 injured when a vehicle rushed toward a crowd attending a New Year's celebration in New Orleans, Louisiana.
At about 3:15 a.m. local time yesterday, a pickup truck rushed into the crowd in central New Orleans.
Witnesses said a white truck rammed into people at high speed before a male driver got down and opened fire.
The AP reported that the suspect died after a gunfight with police.
Police in New Orleans say two officers at the scene were shot, but are in stable condition.
