Yes, President Yoon Suk Yeol vetoed three bills that passed the National Assembly plenary session led by the opposition party on the 19th of last month.

The presidential office said President Yoon called for the National Assembly to reconsider the Special Prosecutor Act of Kim Gun-hee, the Special Prosecutor Act of Chae Sang-byung, and the Local Currency Act this morning.

Earlier, on the 30th of last month, the government held a cabinet meeting presided over by Prime Minister Han Deok-soo and voted on a request for reconsideration of the three bills.President

Yoon was able to veto the bill from the day after it was transferred to the government until the day after the day after it was transferred to the government (the 4th), but he approved the request for reconsideration with two days left before the deadline.

At the Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Han Deok-soo criticized the continued abuse of legislative power, saying that the legislative power continues, politics is missing and the constitutional order of separation of powers is at stake.

Earlier, the presidential office also pointed out the problems of the three bills one by one and made the exercise of the veto a fact.

The president's office first pointed out that the Local Currency Act violates the autonomy of local governments and violates the government's right to budget under the constitution by forcing the issuance of local love gift certificates.Regarding the

Kim Special Prosecutor Act, he criticized the opposition-recommended special prosecutor for undermining the current judicial system and violating the president's right to appoint him by having the opposition-recommended special prosecutor investigate allegations raised by the opposition party.

It also said that the prosecution is investigating the matter and that it is feared to damage the reputation of the subject of the investigation by allowing real-time briefings.

Regarding the Special Prosecutor's Act on Chae Sang-byung, he took issue with the fact that the Special Prosecutor's Act passed the National Assembly plenary session again, even though it was revealed that there was no basis for external pressure through police investigations and parliamentary hearings.

In particular, he stressed that the case is being investigated by the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, and that insisting on the introduction of a special prosecutor is to deny the existence of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, which the Democratic Party of Korea pushed ahead with.

At the same time, he reaffirmed the principle that the president's duty and responsibility to exercise his right to demand reconsideration in anti-constitutional and illegal bills, and that he does not compromise on bills that the opposition party has pushed ahead with alone.

With the approval of the re-request, the total number of bills that President Yoon has vetoed since taking office has increased to 24.

The three bills that were vetoed will go back to the National Assembly and go through the process of re-voting.
