Shin Won-sik, head of the National Security Office, said North Korea's report that a South Korean drone penetrated over Pyongyang was for internal control.

Director Shin said on today's broadcast that he judged that North Korea has an advantage in controlling the inside by expanding and emphasizing the threat of the regime in relation to North Korea's massive propagation of South Korea's drone penetration.

He then reiterated that it is proof that the inside of North Korea is shaking, and that it is intended to control the inside of North Korea, which is shaking while also building a justification for provocation.

Shin said that confirming the North Korean claim itself will cause internal conflict as North Korea wants, adding that ignoring is the answer.

In response to the opposition party's criticism of the government's unverifiable response, the opposition party countered that many of North Korea's provocations and nuclear armament were not properly criticized or raised issues.
