President Yoon Suk Yeol has approved a second term of the high-ranking public official's criminal investigation office prosecutors, whose term was scheduled to end on the 27th.
The presidential office said in a notice today (25th) that President Yoon has approved four consecutive prosecutors of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit.
Earlier in August, the Senior Prosecutor Lee Dae-hwan and Investigation Planning Officer Cha Jung-hyun, who are investigating the death of Coporal Chae, the suspicion of Kim Gun-hee's intervention in the nomination of First Lady, and suspicions of Myung Tae-kyun, were voted to serve consecutive terms.
