Minister Kim Young-ho said, "North Korea pushes young soldiers into a war without justification."

Unification Minister Kim Young-ho criticized North Korea for sending soldiers to wars without justification and pushing the precious future of young soldiers into their own hands.

Minister Kim made the remarks in a video opening speech for the "2024 North Korean Human Rights Dialogue" held in Geneva, Switzerland on the 28th local time, referring to the North Korean military's dispatch to Russia.

He then stressed that extreme human rights violations such as arbitrary detention, torture, and execution are still committed in North Korea, and that close solidarity from the international community is needed to resolve them.
