President Yoon Suk Yeol will mark the halfway point of his term on the 10th amid the aftermath of the disclosure of his voice call with Myung Tae-kyun.

President Yoon's leadership is expected to be put to the test throughout this month as there are many variables such as North Korea's dispatch of troops to Russia and the change of leadership between the U.S. and Japan, as well as domestic political issues.

President Yoon Suk Yeol, who took office on May 10, 2022, will mark the turning point of his term on the 10th of this month.

It is time to shed light on major achievements such as four reforms, such as pension and medical care, the abolition of nuclear power plants, strengthening the Korea-U.S. alliance and improving Korea-Japan relations, but the situation is not easy.

In addition to the so-called Yoon-Han conflict and various suspicions surrounding First Lady Kim Gun-hee, President Yoon's voice on the phone with Myung Tae-kyun was disclosed.

The opposition party, which held a large-scale outdoor rally and gathered public opinion, seems to be aiming at President Yoon and setting fire to the "impeachment wind."

[Lee Jae-myung / Democratic Party leader (last 1st): We have to stop illegal state administration. It's time to act, not just say fair and common sense....]

The Democratic Party of Korea plans to push for the third Kim Gun-hee independent counsel bill and a vote again this month, following Lee's first trial sentence.

Han Dong-hoon, chairman of the People's Power Party, is also pressing to come up with measures to resolve the Kim issue within November, and President Yoon has no choice but to worry about the ruling party's departure vote.

[Han Dong-hoon / Representative of the People's Power (Last month, 30th): There are things that need to be concluded first in November. It should be able to boldly and preemptively present and implement solutions to the points of concern of the people.]

Uncertainty is expected to peak not only in domestic political challenges but also in the global diplomatic and security situation.

Following the U.S. presidential election on the 5th and 11th, the election for Japan's next prime minister is also scheduled.

It will immediately lead to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, APEC, major 20 countries, and the G20 summit, which includes China and other member countries.

It is expected to be the first stage for a new diplomatic strategy as it will be held shortly after the issue of leadership change between the U.S. and Japan and a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Above all, there is a possibility that the evaluation of President Yoon's leadership will change depending on how North Korea's dispatch of troops to Russia will unfold.

In the tight political, diplomatic and security schedule at home and abroad in November, President Yoon plans to communicate with the people.

Whether the results of the past two and a half years and future plans as well as explanations and apologies for various suspicions will be the key to the government's driving force in the second half of his term.
