The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs announced that the age standard for the special employment system for the children of veterans, including those of national merit, will be raised from 35 to 39.
The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs said the revised enforcement ordinance of three laws, including the Enforcement Decree of the Act on Honorable Treatment and Support of Persons of National Merit, was approved at the Cabinet meeting.
The special employment system for veterans is a system that requires companies of a certain size or larger to recommend and hire veterans themselves or their families if they do not meet the mandatory employment rate for veterans.
The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs said it has raised the age standard for children of veterans in consideration of recent trends such as an increase in the average age of veterans, an aging phenomenon, and an increase in the youth standard age.
