Han Dong-hoon, chairman of the People's Power Party, said at the National Assembly's committee that the Democratic Party of Korea also acknowledged that the nuclear power plant policy was wrong after the government's budget bill was passed by the ruling and opposition parties.Representative
Han wrote on his SNS, saying that the Democratic Party of Korea cut its nuclear power plant budget entirely last year, but agreed to 213.8 billion won this year, an increase of 100 million won from the government's plan.
He then pointed out that if the world's advanced countries had made all-out efforts to participate in the AI revolution, as the Democratic Party claimed, they would have been devastated at the threshold of the AI revolution, where securing stable power is the key.
He also stressed that the drastic dismantlement of nuclear power was essential for the country at a time when the world was out of the fantasy of RE100, saying it could not afford the power needed for the AI industry, which is mainly focused on volatile renewable energy.
