The Democratic Party of Korea argued that lawmaker Cho's husband, a lawyer identified by his surname Nam, seems to have become close to Myung in the process of serving as a lawyer for Choi Eun-soon, the mother-in-law of President Yoon Suk Yeol, and that Myung may have played an important role in the Seocho-gap candidacy process.
In response, Representative Cho said on social media that it was a novel in vain, and refuted that it was not true that Myung played a role in taking over Choi Eun-soon's case.
