Rep. Bu Seung-chan of the Democratic Party of Korea raised suspicions of attempting to destroy evidence, saying that President Yoon Suk Yeol called Kwak Jong-geun, commander of the Army Special Warfare Command, for the third time on the 6th.
In an interview with CBS Radio, the deputy explained that the last of the three calls that Kwak recently made from the National Defense Commission that President Yoon called was during a live YouTube interview with him on the 6th.
He then argued that it is highly likely that he also spoke to the commander of the Capital Defense Command and the counterintelligence Command, saying that he did not receive the president's phone call because it was a process of interviewing commander Kwak.
When asked if he thought there was a chance that he could have been trying to get his words right or destroy evidence, he replied that it was 100 percent.
