The parliamentary hearing process has begun to appoint three constitutional judges recommended by the National Assembly, which is currently vacant.
The ruling party missed the hearing, saying Acting President Han Deok-soo could not appoint a constitutional judge, and argued that the opposition should stop the hearing.

On the first day of the hearing, questions about martial law were poured out against opposition-recommended candidate Ma Eun-hyuk and political candidate.

When asked if the acting president could appoint a candidate for the Constitutional Court, both candidates answered that it was possible.

On the other hand, the ruling party maintains that acting president Han Deok-soo cannot appoint a constitutional judge.
Kwon Sung-dong, acting leader of the party, said, "If the National Assembly, which voted to impeach, appoints a constitutional judge, would a fair trial be possible?" and ordered a public opinion battle from first-term lawmakers.

The ruling party also announced the process of objection to the Constitutional Court, and in the end, it is analyzed that the final appointment depends on the decision of acting Han Deok-soo.
