It is predicted that the price of vegetables such as cabbage and radish will rise more this month than last year.

The Agricultural Research & Extension Service also predicted that the wholesale price of radish will rise 63% from last year and 18% from the average year to KRW 18,000 for 20kg this month due to reduced summer radish production.

On the other hand, fruits such as apples and pears are expected to have lower wholesale prices than last year as supply increases due to improved crop conditions.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has decided to extend the maximum 40% cabbage discount support, which was scheduled to end yesterday (2nd), by one week until the 9th.
