Gasoline and diesel prices at domestic gas stations have fallen for 10 consecutive weeks.

In the first week of October, the average price of gasoline at gas stations nationwide fell 12.8 won to 1,587.6 won per liter from the previous week, according to the Korea National Oil Corporation's Oil Price Information System.

As a result, gasoline prices at gas stations have fallen to 1,500 won in 33 weeks since surpassing 1,600 won in the second week of February.

Seoul, with the highest price, was 1,655.4 won, while Daegu, with the lowest price, was 1,546.4 won.

The average selling price of diesel fell 14.9 won to 1,420.3 won per liter.

The Korea National Oil Association said that the decline in domestic product prices is likely to slow down or remain flat until next week due to falling international product prices and exchange rates, and that prices should be watched depending on the Middle East war.
