Regarding the court's judgment that there is a procedural defect in the decision of the Korea Communications Commission on MBC reports, the Korea Communications Commission has started to come up with countermeasures.

The Korea Communications Commission announced its official position that it would analyze the contents and respond appropriately after receiving the case ruling.

Earlier, the Seoul Administrative Court ruled that the two-member Korea Communications Commission's decision to impose sanctions on MBC reports in accordance with the decision of the Korea Communications Standards Commission was illegal because it did not meet the quorum requirements.

Since last year, the Korea Communications Commission has voted on several agendas in a "two-person system," including former Chairman Lee Dong-kwan and Kim Hong-il, Vice Chairman Lee Sang-in, and Chairman Lee Jin-sook and Vice Chairman Kim Tae-kyu, whose duties have been suspended due to the impeachment trial.

Accordingly, it is reported that the KCC is carefully arranging its position with weight on 'appeal'.

The Korea Communications Standards Commission, which decided to impose a fine of 15 million won on MBC reports, stressed that the ruling made it clear that there was no problem with the Korea Communications Standards Commission's meeting process.
