Starting next month, the price of some imported beers handled by OB Beer will increase by an average of 8%.
OB Beer said the price of 10 imported beers, including Budweiser and Hogarden, Stella, Santori and Goose, sold at large discount stores and convenience stores, will increase.
Accordingly, the price of Budweiser, Hogwarts, and Stella based on 500ml will increase by 400 won from 4,500 won to 4,900 won.
OB Beer said the price hike was decided at the request of the imported beer brand company due to the high exchange rate in the face of rising raw material and logistics costs.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that the price increase for beer shipped from Korea, such as Cass, is not considered.
