KT has unveiled the world's first artificial intelligence set-top box that supports 8K quality in the IPTV industry.

The newly released "Genie TV Set-Top Box 4" can optimize screen brightness and volume by itself depending on the content and increase real-time broadcast quality to 8K.

In addition, it has a function to quickly find only the desired person and scene, and a function that AI characters sign and interpret emergency disaster broadcasts in real time.

KT announced that it will evolve the IPTV set-top box into an 'AI hub' that connects customers and AI.
