Gasoline and diesel prices sold at domestic gas stations have risen for four consecutive weeks this week.

According to the Korea National Oil Corporation's oil price information system Opinet, the average gasoline price in the first week of November was 1,613.3 won per liter, up 13.1 won from the previous week.

The highest price was 1,6888.5 won in Seoul, and the lowest price in Daegu was 1,580.3 won.

The cheapest brand was the Affordable Gas Station, which averaged KRW 1,586.9 per liter.

The average selling price of diesel rose 13.0 won to 1,441.8 won per liter.

International oil prices rose this week due to OPEC+'s delay in easing production cuts and disruptions to U.S. oil production following the hurricane.

Changes in international oil prices are usually reflected in domestic gas station prices with a difference of two to three weeks.

The Korea National Oil Association predicts that oil prices will rise by next week as oil tax reductions will also be reflected.
