Avian influenza confirmed at a meat duck farm in Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do

An H5 type avian influenza antigen has been identified at a duck farm in Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do.The Central Disaster Management Headquarters for Avian Influenza
said yesterday (25th) that the avian influenza antigen was confirmed on a farm raising more than 33,000 ducks in Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do, and is currently undergoing a thorough examination to determine its high pathogenicity.

The H5 type avian influenza antigen has been confirmed for the fifth time only in the poultry farm in winter, and the quarantine authorities are conducting an initial response team to control access and conduct epidemiological investigations.
