Seoul's Sound, which accused the case, has decided to appeal the prosecution's indictment of all those involved in the suspicion of receiving Kim Gun-hee's luxury bags.
Seoul's Voice said it will submit an appeal to the Seoul High Prosecutor's Office on Monday morning next week for a reinvestigation.
Ryu Jae-yul, a lawyer for Seoul's Sori, explained that the prosecution will file an appeal to get a proper judgment, as it cannot understand the argument that the prosecution judged to be "not related to the job" unlike the investigation review committee.
Apart from this, he added that he will also proceed with the process of applying for a ruling, directly asking the court whether the prosecution's decision to not prosecute is reasonable.
The prosecution indicted all five officials, including President Yoon Suk Yeol, Mrs. Kim, Pastor Choi Jae-young, and Representative Baek Eun-jong of Seoul, 10 months after Kim received a luxury bag through Seoul Sound.
