A former lawyer who was accused of disclosing a recording of Lee Hwa-young, former governor of peace in Gyeonggi Province,'s detention center interview.

The civic group Liberty Korea Defense Corps filed a complaint with the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office today (the 2nd) against lawyer Kim, who was defending the former governor Lee, on charges of violating the sentence enforcement law and obstructing the execution of public affairs by hierarchies.

Earlier in July last year, a transcript of the former governor Lee's statement at the detention center that he "falsely confessed because of the prosecution's conciliation and pressure" was released, sparking controversy that the lawyer leaked it at the time. The

accuser group pointed out that if lawyer Kim recorded a conversation in the reception room, it was illegal to bring prohibited items into the correctional facility, and that it was virtually impossible for the detainee, Lee, to leak the recording to the outside.

Suwon District Prosecutors' Office said last year that the former governor Lee denied the credibility of the transcript, and said it would submit the transcript as evidence to Lee's illegal remittance appeals court.
