The Pyeongtaek branch of the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office yesterday (7th) indicted Lee Byung-jin of the Democratic Party of Korea, who is suspected of violating the Public Official Election Act, without detention.
Lawmaker Lee is accused of lending money to an acquaintance as collateral for the land located in Sinbong-ri, Yeongin-myeon, Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, and reporting it to the Election Commission without missing the bond details.
In a prosecution investigation, Lee reportedly denied the allegations.
