Chinese PM attends ASEAN Summit...Attention is drawn to the success of bilateral talks between Korea, China and Japan.

The Chinese government announced that Premier Li Chang of the State Council of China will visit Laos from the 9th to the 12th to attend the ASEAN-related summit.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Maoning said in a briefing that Li will attend the ASEAN summit, the China-ASEAN summit, the ASEAN+3 summit, and the East Asia summit in Vientiane, Laos, and also carry out an official visit to Laos.

The governments of both Korea and Japan announced that President Yoon Suk Yeol and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba will also attend the ASEAN-related meeting.

Attention is focusing on whether this meeting will lead to bilateral talks between Korea, China and Japan.

If the meeting between President Yoon Suk Yeol and Prime Minister Li Chang is held, it will be more than four months after the meeting in Seoul in late May on the occasion of the Korea-China-Japan summit.Following his visit to Laos, Prime Minister ∀
