Police have caught a man who retaliated by visiting a convenience store owner who reported his theft in the past.
Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 70s accused of retaliatory assault and special intimidation under the Specific Crime Weighted Act.
Mr. A is accused of threatening the owner with a hammer at a convenience store in Dangsan-dong, Seoul, at around 7:10 p.m. last evening (9th), and assaulting the face with his hands several times.
According to a police investigation, A was found to have committed theft due to a report from a convenience store owner in the past and retaliated against the fine.
The police have applied for an arrest warrant for A and are investigating the exact circumstances of the crime.
