Police Commissioner Jo Ji-ho said a closed-door investigation into the drunk driving case of former President Moon Jae In's daughter Da-hye is a principle.

When asked at the parliamentary audit of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee today (11th), Cho answered that all investigations are closed to the public.

He then explained that he understood that he is coordinating the summoning schedule with Moon's side.

When asked if there is a possibility of investigating outside the Yongsan Police Station in charge of the case, Cho replied that it is desirable for the police station to follow the principle.

When asked again if it was possible to move the investigation site, he added that if there is a risk to the safety of the person present, it can be reviewed.

However, the National Police Agency explained that after Cho's remarks, it meant that he could release separate data and review personal safety measures.

Asked during the parliamentary audit whether Moon could be charged with homicide and injury by dangerous driving under the Specific Crime Weighted Act, Cho said, "In principle, we can decide after confirming the facts."

When asked by an opposition lawmaker if he had leaked the former president's misconduct, he dismissed it as nonsense.
