The Gangdong Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 40s on charges of wielding a weapon against the police who were dispatched after falsely reporting suicide.
A is accused of wielding a weapon against a police officer who was dispatched to the scene after reporting that he wanted to die at a villa in Amsa-dong, Seoul, at around 11 p.m. last night (15th).
Mr. A was immediately overpowered by the police and no one was injured.
It was investigated that A had reported to the police more than 20 times that he would die.
The police plan to investigate the details of the crime against A and decide whether to apply for an arrest warrant.
