Jeong Geun-sik, the new superintendent of education who went to work at the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, started his term by greeting his employees.

Superintendent Chung emphasized that he would visit the site once a week to listen to the story.

In particular, he said he would certainly ease his worries, saying he knows parents in "Gangnam 3 districts," which have strong conservative taxes, are concerned.

Superintendent Chung has declared that he will maintain the ten-year innovative education stance of former Superintendent Cho Hee-yeon.

Studying to go to a good university is not the essence of education.

[Jung Geun-sik / Seoul Superintendent of Education: I think innovative education over the past 10 years has been a process of normalizing public education that has washed away the deep-rooted evils of 100 years of modern education. I say that I will continue the achievements of innovation education, but I will boldly overcome the limits.

The first task to solve is to resolve educational polarization.

He explained that he will be able to receive the necessary education without being affected by his parents' financial resources and where they live.

To this end, superintendent Chung approved the plan to build a learning diagnosis and healing center on the first day of his inauguration.

Through this, they said they will support students with problems such as poor learning and borderline intelligence.

Teachers' organizations, such as the Korean Federation of Teachers' Association and the Korean Teachers and Education Workers Union, have called for efforts to protect teachers' rights.

Superintendent Chung also promised to look into the issue of teacher treatment, saying that students' right to learn will be protected only when teachers guarantee their right to teach safely.
