Choi Sung-woo (28), who is accused of assaulting and killing a neighbor of the same apartment, claimed in the trial that he had no intention of murder.

At the first trial held at the Seoul Northern District Court's Criminal Agreement Department 13 (Chief Judge Lee Tae-woong) hearing on the 22nd, Choi Sung-woo's lawyer said, "The defendant did not intend to kill the victim, so he wants to deny the crime of murder and admit the crime of injury and death."

Choi Sung-woo is accused of indiscriminately assaulting the victim's vital point on August 20 by punching dozens of times in the face and head of a neighbor in his 70s who he accidentally encountered at an apartment smoking area in Jungnang-gu and slamming his head on Cho Kyung-seok.
