While the launch of the ruling and opposition parties' consultative body is in pain, delegates from the Korean Medical Association proposed a no-confidence motion, saying that Lim Hyun-taek, chairman of the Korean Medical Association, should be impeached.

Cho Hyun-geun, a representative of the Korean Medical Association, said that with the consent of 103 members, he requested an extraordinary general meeting of the House of Representatives to discuss the non-confidence of Lim and the formation of an emergency committee.

Currently, there are 246 delegates to the medical association, with 103 delegates exceeding the requirement for a no-confidence motion, which requires at least a third of the registered delegates.

Representative Cho pointed out that Chairman Lim has significantly damaged the reputation of doctors and medical associations by pouring out harsh words and errors on SNS several times.

He also stressed that the current executive should be held accountable and a new emergency committee should be urgently formed, saying that the nursing law was too easily enacted during this executive branch.
