A 2.5 magnitude earthquake struck at 9:20 p.m. yesterday (2nd) in a 37-kilometer area north-northwest of Gilju, North Hamgyeong Province.
The epicenter is 41.28 degrees north latitude and 129.21 degrees east longitude, with an earthquake depth of 17 kilometers.
The Korea Meteorological Administration said the earthquake was analyzed to have occurred naturally.
