The ruling and opposition parties held a second meeting and continued to approach opinions on the guarantee of autonomy of the Korea Institute of Medical Education and Evaluation and the number of medical school selections, but only confirmed differences between each other.

The government and the ruling party have repeatedly called for additional participation in the consultative body of medical organizations such as medical doctors, but the medical community's response is still cold.

On the 11th, only the government, the ruling party, and two medical organizations participated in the anchor.

The 2nd general meeting was held to discuss ways to guarantee autonomy of the Korea Institute of Medical Education and Evaluation and the number of medical school members selected, but

The government's position and the medical community's position are still parallel.

At the meeting, the government and the ruling party repeatedly urged medical groups to participate in additional consultative bodies.

[Han Ji-ah / Senior spokesman for People's Power: Medical organizations are currently asking for (participation) once again in the case of the Medical Association. In addition, we ask for active participation in organizations.]

Earlier, the consultative body proposed the goal of producing results before the end of the year, but it is impossible without the participation of medical professionals and medical students who are key parties to this legislative conflict.

The emergency committee of the Korean Medical Association is in a position to allocate three of the 15 emergency committee members to the doctors and medical students, and respect their opinions as much as possible.

In the end, the success or failure of the consultative body can depend on the participation of doctors and medical students, but their position is still strong.

Medical students maintain that negotiations are impossible without the government's complete abolition of the increase in medical schools.

[Jo Jun / Co-chair of the emergency committee of the medical school/medical school student council (last 15th): Solving a problem is not done by mimicking communication without turning a blind eye to the problem and ignoring the voices of the parties concerned]

The representative of the major also expressed skepticism that the consultative body was meaningless, and some predict that it could be more difficult for medical students to participate in the consultative body if they speak out at the emergency committee of the medical association, which will be officially launched earlier this week.

In this situation, if the government and the ruling party do not find a trick to persuade medical doctors and medical students, the meeting itself will not have much effect, and even if the agreement is reached, it is likely to be only "half-sized."
