President Yoon is moving to Brazil for "G20" today...We're also discussing a series of bilateral talks.

After his official schedule in Peru, President Yoon Suk Yeol will travel to Brazil to speak at the G20 summit.President

Yoon is planning to emphasize the international community's solidarity in fighting hunger, poverty, and overcoming the climate crisis, and a series of bilateral talks between the leaders are also underway.

President Yoon Suk Yeol, who is on a tour of South America, will travel from Peru to Brazil to attend the G20 summit of 20 major countries until the last day of his tour.

This is the third time after Bali in 2022 and New Delhi last year.

This year's G20 summit will be held under the theme of "Building a Just World and a Sustainable Earth."In the first session under the theme of 'Social Inclusion, Hunger, and the Elimination of Poverty,' President
Yoon will call for support from our government in responding to the global food crisis and pan-G20 efforts to support economic growth in developing countries.

In addition, the third session under the theme of "Sustainable Development and Energy Transition" is expected to propose international cooperation to overcome the climate crisis and transform clean energy.

In particular, this year's G20 summit will be attended by more emerging and developing economies and developing countries in the Middle East, Africa, and South America than ever before at the additional invitation of Brazil.
President Yoon is expected to introduce our role and contribution plan as a bridge connecting developing countries and advanced countries.

With the two-day attendance of the G20, bilateral meetings between the leaders are expected to follow.

The presidential office, which is discussing whether to hold a summit with South Africa, Mexico and Indonesia, plans to discuss practical cooperation plans through this.
