The Seoul Metropolitan Government has released a list of 12,686 high-value and habitual delinquents who have failed to pay more than 10 million won in local taxes.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced today (20th) that it posted information on the website such as the name, company name, age, address, and amount of arrears of 12,686 delinquents a year later with more than 10 million won in local tax arrears.
The list added 1,599 new people to the existing 11,087 public people.
Their arrears totaled KRW 1.4118 trillion.
New List Revealed Top 10 Individuals in High-Cost and Regular Delinquents / Seoul Metropolitan Government
Among the newly added list disclosures, the highest individual delinquent was Lee Geum-yeol, who was 1.41 billion won in arrears.
The largest corporation is Yeongha Village, an agricultural company, with 1.329 billion won in arrears.
The highest amount of personal arrears, including the previous and new, was Oh Moon-chul, who was in arrears of 15.174 billion won. Oh is the CEO of Jeon Bo-hae Savings Bank and has ranked first in individual high-value delinquents for several years in the past.
The largest corporation is JU Development Co., which has 11.32 billion won in arrears, and is the same as JU Network Co., which is second-largest, 10.947 billion won.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government plans to continue tracking and search activities such as house search, real estate seizure, credit information provision, departure ban, prosecution charges, and restrictions on government-licensed projects, along with the disclosure of the list of high-value and habitual delinquents.
