Minjoo seeks to impeach Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office chief Lee Chang-soo during regular session of the National Assembly

The Democratic Party of Korea has decided to deal with the impeachment of Lee Chang-soo, the chief of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, Cho Sang-won, the fourth deputy chief of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, and Choi Jae-hoon, the second deputy chief of the anti-corruption department, within this year's regular session, which is due on the 10th of next month.

Floor spokesman Kang Yoo-jung told reporters at the National Assembly that impeachment of prosecutors was a kind of constant concept and a matter of date, adding that there is a high possibility that the plenary session will be processed on the 28th.

He added that the plenary session is also scheduled for the 2nd and 10th of next month, and there is still some time until the plenary session on the 28th, so the exact timing of the impeachment bill will be decided the day before.
