Actress Lee Young-ae filed a lawsuit for damages against a YouTuber who claimed that her donation was related to Kim Gun-hee, but lost the first trial.

The Seoul Western District Court ruled today (20th) that Lee lost the plaintiff in a lawsuit filed against Jeong Chun-soo, former CEO of the YouTube channel Open Sympathy TV, asking for 250 million won in compensation.

In October, the court made a decision to recommend reconciliation by suggesting to former representative Chung not to erase the video of the problem and not to broadcast it raising the theory of connection, but both sides filed an objection and the trial proceeded.

In September last year, Lee donated 50 million won to the Presidential Memorial Foundation of Rhee Syng-man, and when the open Sympathy TV reported that Lee and Yoon Suk Yeol's couple were involved, Lee filed a criminal complaint and filed a civil suit against Chung, claiming that he had spread fake news.

The Seoul High Prosecutor's Office has been investigating the case where Lee sued former CEO Chung for defamation since August.
