2024.12.23 PM 03:10
At the time of the December 3 emergency martial law, it was alleged that the Defense Security Command referred to the "arrest aid" by requesting the police to be dispatched.

Lee Hyun-il, head of the National Police Agency's investigation planning department, attended a plenary session of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee today (23rd) and claimed that he received a call from the head of the investigation coordination department of the counterintelligence agency at the time of martial law and heard about "arrest."

Director Lee explained that the National Investigation Headquarters was asked to send five people because the scene was confusing and they needed guiding personnel, saying that the counterintelligence agency was dispatched to the National Assembly.

In the meantime, he said that the counterintelligence agent did not request a criminal dispatch, but the police decided on their own and sent a detective.

However, the detectives explained that there were no handcuffs and that they were not put in for arrest, but simply understood and acted as directions.
