Police investigate middle school student who wielded weapon at school

A teenage middle school student who went on a rampage by wielding a weapon at school has been questioned by police.

Ansan Danwon Police Station in Gyeonggi Province said it received a report that a middle school student A threatened other students by wielding a weapon and throwing a glass cup at his school at around 9:20 a.m. yesterday (23rd).

No one was injured in A's rampage.

The police plan to call A and school officials soon to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident.
