The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul arrested five Thais for violating the Narcotics Control Act and the Immigration Control Act.
They are suspected of administering ketamine at a club in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul, at around 5 a.m. on the 29th of last month.
The police were dispatched after receiving a report that foreigners were taking drugs and caught them at the scene.
As a result of a simple drug test, all tested positive for ketamine, and some tested positive for methamphetamine.
The police, who handed over the recruits to the immigration office, plan to hand them over to the prosecution as soon as they receive the results of a detailed examination of drugs from the National Forensic Service.
