Iran "exercises the right to defend..."If Israel does not retaliate further, retaliatory measures will end"

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi has called the massive missile attack on Israel an exercise of "right to self-defense."

Minister Arakchi told social media X on the 2nd local time that Iran's retaliatory measures will end "if the Israeli regime does not impose additional retaliation on itself."

The Iranian military has also warned against any direct military intervention in support of Israel.

"If the state supporting Israel intervenes directly, the region's centers and interest groups will also face heavy attacks from Iranian forces," the Iranian military said in a statement, citing Iran's semi-official Fars news agency.
