Hezbollah, which lost a large number of its leadership in the Israeli airstrike, is said to have been hit hard enough to schedule the funeral of its head, Hasan Nasrallah.
Citing internal sources, CNN reported on the 4th local time that Hezbollah has yet to officially name a successor, as well as Nasrallah's funeral.
Islamic norms require burial within 24 hours of death to prevent decomposition of bodies as much as possible.

In Iran, the Shiite leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, held a Friday service for the first time in four years to pay tribute to Nasrallah, but there has been no public movement in Lebanon.
Earlier in the day, some reported that Nasrallah was secretly buried, but sources close to Hezbollah denied this to CNN.
