The Palestinian health ministry said a 12-year-old boy was shot dead by Israeli forces in the West Bank on the 7th local time, the first year of the Gaza war.
Israeli troops fired live rounds as they carried out a demonstration of protesters' dissolution and were confirmed to be shot, the Israeli military said during a counterterrorism operation in Kalandia, near Jerusalem, as violence erupted, including protesters throwing stones.
Hundreds of Palestinians, including militants, stone-throwing teenagers and innocent civilians, have been killed in clashes with Israeli forces as violence has risen in the West Bank since the Gaza war.
Dozens of Israelis were also killed in the Palestinian attacks.
