Tesla CEO Elon Musk, like former President Trump, claimed that the risk of his assassination has become very high.

On the 21st (local time), Musk shared a video showing him making the remarks at a Trump-backed campaign rally in Pennsylvania through his X (formerly Twitter) account.

In the video, Musk said, "The risk of me being assassinated has increased dramatically," adding, "Participating in politics is not what I want. I don't want to die," he said. He added, "But I feel compelled to do it."

Along with the video, Musk also captured and shared an online page including the title and image of an English article by German media outlet Spiegel. In the capture, an image of Musk's face and some of Trump's face photos were combined in a tear-up form was posted under the title "Enemy number two."

Musk criticized, "The existing mainstream media is actively encouraging assassinations against Donald Trump and me."

Musk publicly expressed his support for Trump shortly after former President Trump narrowly escaped his first assassination attempt on July 13, and recently provided full support as the presidential election day neared.

In particular, he signed a petition supporting freedom of expression and the right to carry a gun and promised to draw one person every day to give 1 million dollars (about 1.38 billion won) to residents who registered as voters.
